  • In the kitchen connected ovens and fridges are perceived as most benefitial.

  • Consumers are looking for info and tips on how to save energy, optimize their usage, as well as prolonging appliance lifetime (predictive / preventive maintenance).

  • Easy access to appliance info, service options, customer service, (and community) are hygiene factors.

  • Most positively rated features: Energy Management, Maintenance Dashboard, Program Assistant, Usage-based tips, Hob-based Cooker-Hood-Control.

  • Pre-purchase: Currently very few options to experience Smart Home applications live to make benefits  tangible. Creating touchpoints within this category is vital to expand beyond the few tech-savvy users.
